Medals
Medals are given when a member of the Vast Empire Army accomplishes something oustanding or fanastic that a promotion would not cover. In these rare cases, medals are awarded. These medals are to be worn on the Vast Empire member's uniform and are also displayed in abbreviated form after the soldier's ID line.
All medals may be revoked if the Prefect of the Army deems that the soldier did not deserve it.

Steel Cross of Palpatine [SCP]
The highest medal to be
awarded an Army member. It is awarded only if the recipient has shown
courage under fire, displayed the proper manners befitting an Imperial
officer, surpassed the expectations of normal activity, and have
changed the Army in a positive way because of his/her actions. This
medal may only be awarded by the The Prefect of the Army or by
the Head of High Council.

Pride of Coruscant [PoC]
Conferred to Imperial officers
who the Vast Empire Army is very proud of, and deems them the best
officers in service. It is the second highest medal in the Vast Empire
Army, and may only be bestowed by either the Prefect of the Army or the
Head of High Council.

Crescent of Heroism [CoH]
A medal for the command staff
members that have given their all to increasing the activity of the
Army and Vast Empire in general. This medal shows prestige, and above
all else, loyalty to the ever-growing Vast Empire. This is to be only
given out by the The Prefect of the Army or Head of the High Council.

Crystal Ring of Merit [CRoM], Gold Ring of Merit [GRoM]
A ring given to the most elite members of the Army that daily show the
most dedication, loyalty, perseverance, courage, and manner that befits
an officer. This medal has two classes. The first (Crystal Ring of
Merit) class is for members of the Army that surpass all other members
in activity and loyalty; the second (Gold Ring of Merit) class is for
the members that, no matter what stands in their way, confront it with
perseverance, courage, and manner befitting an officer. Only the
Commander of the Army may award this prestigious medal.

Star of Sesswenna [SoS]
Granted to stormtroopers who
have been in service for a very long time. It is for loyal, persistent
and dedicated members only. It may only be awarded by the Prefect of
the Army.

Cross of the Empire [CotE]
An award which is given for
reasons unknown by the Prefect of the Army.

Iron Gauntlet [IG]
Awarded to members who have shown
bravery in the bloody onslaughts of battle. It may only be awarded by
the Prefect of the Army.

Red Crescent of Devotion [RCoD]
A medal for the members
of the Army that have increased morale and activity by keeping the
attitude of the Army during hard times light and energetic. The
Executive Officer and Army Commander may give out this medal.

Ring of Tranquility [RoT]
A medal given to the officers
of the Army that exhibit the qualities shown by only the most elite
and active members of the Vast Empire. This medal warrants loyalty to
the Empire that you serve; a medal that only the most courageous
officers can ever obtain. The Prefect of the Army and the Executive
Officer may give out this medal.

Legionnaire Medallion [LM]
Granted to soldiers who have
displayed courage under fire. It may be awarded by both the Prefect of
the Army and the Executive Officer.

Gold Cross [GC]
Awarded to members who have made over
250+ posts on Army-sanctioned stories: Squad/Platoon/Specialty. It is awarded by the Tactical Officer.

Silver Cross [SC]
Given to members who have made over
175 posts on Army-sanctioned stories: Squad/Platoon/Specialty. It is awarded by the Tactical Officer.

Bronze Cross [BC]
Presented to stormtroopers who have
made over 75 posts on Army-sanctioned stories: Squad/Platoon/Specialty. It is awarded by the Tactical Officer.

Crescent of Valor [CoV]
Bequeathed to soldiers who are
veterans in battle and have engaged in numerous skirmishes and
engagements (usually a minimal of 50 official multiplayer games). It is
awarded by the Prefect, Executive Officer, and the Commander of
Development.

Blue Medallion [BM], White Medallion [WM]
Medallion for
members of the Army that have shown their activity in the Army by
creating and managing a webpage. This medal has two classes, first and
second. First (Bblue Medallion) is the higher and warrants a better
constructed and maintained webpage. The lower White Medallion
represents a good webpage and frequent improvements to the site. The
Commander of Development, Executive Officer, and Prefect of the Army may award these medals.

Ring of Merit [RoM]
A ring for troopers that have given
their life, shown their bravery, and displayed their courage by giving
one hundred percent in a competition or campaign. The Army High Command
may award this medal to any trooper that has displayed these traits.

Gold Shield [GS]
A medal given out to members of the
Army that have shown their courage by taking part in numerous battles
to warrant the growth of the Vast Empire. This medal is usually given
to troopers and officers that have participated in numerous multiplayer
battles and displayed prestige in doing so. The Army High Command staff
may give out this medal.

Iron Heart [IH]
A medal for the troopers of the Vast
Empire Army that have shown their bravery, courage, and honor by
increasing a squad’s or platoon’s activity and having a major effect on
the overall activity of the Regiment. The Regiment Commander and above
may award this medal.

Cross of Distinguished Service [CDS]
Recipients of this
medal are courageous soldiers who have helped the fleet in numerous
inventive ways, and who are the role models of the Vast Empire Army. It
may be awarded by Regiment Commanders and above.

Cross of Resolve [CoR]
A medal given to the troopers
that, from day to day, show manners and activity befitting an officer.
These troopers are very active and ready to help the Vast Empire any
way they can. This medal may be given out by Company Commander’s and
above.

Emperor's Will 1st Class [EW1], Emperor's Will 2nd Class [EW2]
Awarded to
members who have shown dedication, loyalty, and outstanding activity in
his/her platoon. This award has two classes: 1st Class and 2nd Class. The
first is higher than the second. It may be awarded by Platoon
Commanders and above.

Emperor's Shield 1st Class [ES1], Emperor's Shield 2nd Class [ES2]
The
standard excellence award of the Vast Empire Stormtrooper Corps, it may
be bestowed for any outstanding service. This award has two classes:
1st Class and 2nd Class. The first is higher than the second. This medal
can be granted by Squad Leaders.
Letter of Recommendation [LoR]
Given to members who have
shown fantastic displays of promise while serving in the Vast Empire
Army Academy. It adds a 15% increase on the test to achieve a
commission as an Imperial Officer. It may only be awarded by the
Commander of Training.
Order of Palpatine [OPA]
Awarded for members who recruit
15 members or above.

Order of Thrawn [OTH]
Awarded to members who recruit 10
members.

Order of Pellaeon [OPE]
Awarded to members who recruit 5
members.
Army Service Ribbons
These ribbons are awarded to members who have dedicated their loyalty and service to the Army. It is awarded at 6 months, one year, two years, and so forth from the member's join date. Each higher tiered ribbon replaces the former.

Commendations
Recruiting Commendation {RCRT}
Awarded for each active recruit you bring into the corps. This is typically given after the recruit has been active in a squad for a month. This commendation may be awarded by the Commander of Training.
Meritorious Commendation {MRT}
Awarded to those members whom not only obey the Code of Conduct and Vast Empire Axiom, but assist in enforcing them by reporting violations through official channels (chain of command) and also assist the administrators in resolving the violations without further incidents. This commendation may be awarded by the Prefect of the Army and Army Executive Officer.
Resolute Commendation {RES}
Awarded for posting at least seven (7) quality story posts on the Army Comnet in a single reporting week (From Sunday to Saturday). Squad stories, platoon stories, army-wide campaigns, specialties, and chapter stories are tallied for this. Personal stories do not count. This commendation may be awarded by Company Commanders and above.
Optimum Commendation {OPC}
This one exists for those in their first month of the VE. If they graduate basic training and obtain ten army story posts (same guidelines as for the Resolute Commendation) before the month is up, they achieve this award. For each set of ten qualifying posts made before the month ends, they obtain another of this commendation. For fairness, a month is always considerd thirty (30) days. This commendation may be awarded by Platoon Commanders and above.
Campaign Ribbons
The following battlefield commendations will follow all
other medals and are indicative of participation in Stormtrooper Corps
activities and competitions. Note that some commendations are of
higher merit than others; in this case, the superior award will be
mentioned first.
Imperial Omega Campaign [IOC]
Granted to those members participating in the Army-Navy Imperial Omega Campaign, 2000.
Shield of Alzoc [SoA]
Granted to those members performing at the highest of skill and activity in the Army Holiday campaign and competition on Alzoc III, Winter 2003. Replaces the Banner of Alzoc
Banner of Alzoc [BoA]
Granted to those members who participated in the Army Holiday campaign and competition on Alzoc III, Winter 2003.
Shield of Hast [SoH]
Granted to those members who achieved excellence in participation during the Chapter 8.5 campaign, Summer 2007. Replaces the Banner of Hast.
Banner of Hast [BoH]
Granted to those members who participated in the Chapter 8.5 campaign, Summer 2007.
Claw of Strak [CoS]
Granted to those members who achieved excellence in participation during the STC Spring 2008 Competition. Replaces the Laurel of Strak.
Laurel of Strak [LoS]
Granted to those members who participated during the STC Spring 2008 Competition.
Gold Ribbon of Pixellito [GRP]
Granted to those members who achieved excellence in participation during the July 2008 NPC Competition.
Silver Ribbon of Pixellito [SRP]
Granted to those members who participated during the July 2008 NPC Competition.
Quick Write McGrite [QW-xx] (where xx represents the year)
Awarded to the singular member whom performs the best during the Quick Write Competition.
Crimson Crystal of Anteevy [CCA]
Bestowed upon those who have delivered their very best and produced great amounts of quality participation and activity, or contributed to the campaign in a large way. This award is an upgrade of the Sapphire Crystal of Anteevy and thus replaces it.
Sapphire Crystal of Anteevy [SCA]
Awarded to those that have participated in HSC 2008
Special Awards
- Outer Rim War 3
- Legion of Combat
- The Legion of Combat is an award created to recognize participation in the Outer Rim War 3. This medal recognized the number of wins achieved by the participant.

- Bronze Star (LoC-BS): For winning 25 or more
- Silver Scimitar (LoC-SS): For winning 50 or more
- Gold Wings (LoC-GW): For winning 75 or more
- Ruby Scepter (LoC-RS): For winning 100 or more
- Emerald Blade (LoC-EB): For winning 125 or more
- Diamond Dagger (LoC-DD): For winning 150 or more
- Platinum Lightsaber (LoC-PL): For winning 200 or more
- Combat Medallion
- The Combat Medallion was a medal created to recognize achievements in the Outer Rim War 3 external Competition. This award recognized the number of games each participant played.
